Major Palgrave is a unique but charming mystery novel writer who revealed to Miss Maple that a guest of their Caribbean luxury resort hotel was a bluebeard style wife killer. Unfortunately, before revealing the identity of the killer, the major clearly accidentally drank too much alcohol and took antihypertensive drugs. When the drug was found to belong to another guest, and the exposed photos carried by the major were missing, Miss Marple realized that the serial killer was coming again, and there would be more murders.
