纪录片《我不是你的“黑鬼”》(I Am Not Your Negro)完成于2016年，叙事文字取自黑人小说家、散文家、剧作家和诗人詹姆斯·鲍德温 (James Baldwin)生前未完成的一部作品。黑人演员Samuel Jackson朗读，听起来语音语调与文字本身具有的说服力、洞察力和优雅比较吻合。画面大多取自1960年代的历史资料，穿插进鲍德温 1987年去世后持续发生的种族冲突事件，比如2014年密苏里州弗格森的街头骚乱。美国几家流媒体平台最近重点推介这部获得过奥斯卡提名的作品显然正合时宜
