The film is purely made for feminists, and more specifically for the "MeToo" event. The plot lacks any sense of credibility. The flashback storytelling makes it even worse. Yes, Close's performances are notable. Yet that is the biggest problem in the sense that the film relies too much on Close's performances, Yes, Close is going to win a long-awaited Oscar, but the film is hardly of high quality.
